I learned what love at first site is
I saw what real beauty was
I experienced a first!
I became an aunt for the very first time! This amazing event has recreated itself 3 other times but there sure is something to say about the first time!
My niece Maddy was born 4/28/97!
I was 17 and a senior in high school and boy did I love that little girl! Boy do I still love that not so little girl!
Maddy has been a true blessing to our family! She is a sweet level headed girl with a heart of gold!
If you think I am crazy about her you should hear her mini-me talk about her! Tyler thinks she is the best thing ever. If Maddy loves it Ty does too. If maddy will eat it ty will too. If Maddy says it then it is written in stone!

SO my birthday message to one special girl! Maddaroo Baby loves you and the last 11 years have been super special. The next 11 years hold some big events for you and I can't wait to be a part of them! Some of my favorite memories of you are I got to take you for your first pedicure, seeing your first dance recital, spending all my hard earned babysitting money on you. OH and I still really really love you eventough you broke my most favorite new york snow globe! Keep being who you are and I am so proud of who that is and can't wait to see who that becomes!

1. What bill do you hate paying the most? I luckily don't pay the bills but alan would say the mortgage on my old house. ticks him off every time.

2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner? I would say Pappas on New Years. We hopefully will be going there soon for our anniversary May 12!

3. Do you have any regrets? (changed cause I have YOUNG viewers) no I sure dont. I made mistakes, I learned from them and boy oh boy did i get some good out of them!

4. If you could go back and change one thing what would it be? not meeting alan before ok ok I had to grow up so it was perfect timing!

6. What do you really want to be doing right now? Getting a massage.

7. What did you want to be when you were growing up? A Mom.

9. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now? Cause it was the top one in my drawer when the workers rang the door bell

14.What do you miss about being a child? all the fun vacations we went on

16. What errand/chore do you despise? laundry and i hate getting gas

17. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer? i work but it is taqking care of my kiddos. its my dream job

18. Get up early or sleep in? i sleep in most days thanks to the kiddos

20. Favorite thing to do at night with a girl/guy? I like to watch intervention with my hubby

Ok ok so I am so busted on not blogging every day. I owe grandmothers across the country pictures of very special little ones and updates on the daily lives!

So first and foremost happy belated birthday aunt Julie from the kiddos! Hope you had a great day and got our message!

Lets see the dance recital is coming up on May 10. Luke went to the dr last week and weighed in the heavy weight division of 20 lbs in the height category of 26 inches long...laymans terms: he is chubby and LONG! He is rolling over both ways and is still the king of bouncing. The girl is great as always. She is full of life and just amazing. We have kindergarten orientation tomorrow! Can you believe it....kindergarten!

Hold your horses the pics are coming! We have had incredible weekends as a family lately! Alan has been able to put work on the back burner and really devote time to us and it has been awesome! Our anniversary is coming up on May 12th and I am super excited. It has been the best year of my life in a long time thank to him!

Its that time again....

Don't hold your breath...there are no pics today. I know I stink. It is honestly a big pain in the rumpus to download, shrink and upload to here. I promise there will be some cause I took some good ones lately!

Well today I took the plunge and I joined Flylady. It is this great thing to help you get your house in order and stay in order. I took the first test and I shined my kitchen sink. http://www.flylady.net/ It makes sense! It seems a bit daunting at first but it just makes sense!

I bought my hubbys anniversary gift today and I am proud of myself! I hope he likes it! Also BIG NEWS! Ty was the only little dancer at dance today awarded a stuffed bear because she knew the dance and did as she was asked! yay! Mommy was so excited! Luke was an interruption during dance as all the little ones wanted to come and play with him instead of dancing so we left during the last half.

Busy weekend coming up this weekend and a fun play date tomorrow! Well its late and I must bathe. Did i mention our showers are off limits till at least Friday! ugh we have to take baths. I hate baths and washing long hair. It just doesn't get clean! We are finalizing our warranty as we closed on this house a year ago today! AMAZING!

Not much to say today....A few weeks back we had friends over and took some pics so I am going to post those and one of the kids. Here they are....

Me and my handsome hubby! I love this man! We were really having a great time this night! and we never get our pics made together so I was glad to have this one!

Dance stunk!

Poor teacher and kiddos. She has zero control over the kids so today's recital prep seemed to be a waste of time. The kids are not at all prepared for what is ahead of them in May. I was really disappointed because the parent day that was held in December (with a different teacher) was GREAT. The kids had made major improvements from the year before but man they have either stayed the same or gotten worse since December. It makes me sad as I want Ty to really enjoy herself and have fun but it is so chaotic that she seems easily rattled.

Today she got hit in the eye and that totally made her switch flip and she completely checked out of dance and was pretty sad the rest of the time. she does have to take some ownership for her attitude but i partially don't blame her as I was aching to get out of dodge. I hope the show in May will be better. I called the dance school today and talked to the owner about my disappointment in what she was learning and how I felt i was wasting our money. I want her to do something active so like I said i am disappointed.

Today was a great day otherwise. Ty made yummo stuff at cooking today. They made spaghetti pie, candy pizza and dirty dog water (lemonade, with Limeade and sherbet). She really loved all three.

Well i am off to clean out the car as we have to take it to the car Dr tomorrow.
